Our regular second-Thursday-of-the-month “market” gig. LA Weekly says the Grand View Market is "totally awesome." That may be because it’s not only a market, it is also a restaurant, a deli, a bar, an ice cream shop, and a neighborhood hangout that stays open late, all under one roof. And now, there's Bluegrass! This dinner concert is totally free: no admission, no cover, no minimum. Of course, you may want to order some great edibles and potables while enjoying the show. And afterwords, well, you can pick up a few groceries for home.

The Calico Ghost Town
Bluegrass in the Spring

Yerma CA

About a fifteen minute drive from Barstow CA, Calico  is an  authentic old West mining town  restored in the 1950s by Walter Knott (of Knott’s Berry Farm fame). Now it is a State Historical Landmark whose many shops, restaurants, exhibits, and attractions draw hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Bluegrass in the Spring turns the town into a life-sized music box, with the best Bluegrass bands around playing in just about every cafe, courtyard, porch, and patio — not to mention the pig races, blacksmith demonstrations, candle making, etc.

The first stop on our July Road Trip to Washington to perform at the Darrington Bluegrass Festival.

In 1853, James Mace lost his pistol in a river during a skirmish of the Rogue River Wars, and it has been known as the Pistol River ever since. On the Oregon coast about thirty miles north of the California border, the town of Pistol River only has a full-time population of about 84, but it boasts a world-renown annual windsurfing tournament and a concert association that has hosted top quality performers since 1982.

192 Taproom & Beer Garden

Mount Vernon WA

On our Darrington Tour this Summer, we'll be stopping off at this very cool brewery about an hour's drive north of Seattle. A true craft beer success story,  192 Brewing Company started off in 2009 producing 10 barrels and has quadrupled production every year since. This is their newly opened second location.

192 Brewing Company @ The Lake Trail Taproom

Kenmore WA

Another stop on our Darrington Tour this Summer, 192 Brewing Company describes itself as “probably the smallest brewery in Washington; definitely the first legal one in Kenmore." We'll be playing "in the biggest outdoor beer garden in the area" to a crowd of 200-300. Cheers!
